A WASA Rawalpindi payment is tied to a 10-digit account number. On 1Bill the prefix in front of that number is 100052. The bank receipt is immediate. The bill page can take longer to show PAID.
Keep the receipts. A payment that has not reached the ledger comes back as arrears. A sale or transfer can ask for 12 to 24 months of clean history before a No Demand Certificate. Landlords use the same file to see that a tenant cleared the bill.

The next bill still shows arrears
Two causes are already enough. You paid on the due date and the print run happened before the bank file arrived, so the credit lands on the following ledger. Or a digit in the 1Bill number was wrong and the money sat on another account or in suspense.
If the payment is still missing after 5 to 7 days, file a ledger correction. This guide also says an uncorrected payment can draw a disconnection flag within 60 days.
- Print the disputed bill, the bank receipt or 1Bill transaction ID, and the statement line that shows the debit.
- Write to the Assistant Director Revenue, WASA Rawalpindi. Include the 10-digit account, the amount, the date, and the credit you are asking for.
- Submit it at a one-window revenue counter, such as Liaquat Bagh. Take the diary number.
- Revenue matches the transaction ID to the bank scroll, then posts the credit.
Late payment and disconnection
- Late surcharge. 10% of the current amount, added on the next bill if you pay after the due date.
- Warning. Two or more consecutive unpaid months can be marked for disconnection. This guide names a final 7-day notice, Form C.
- The cut. After that notice, a crew can plug or cut the ferrule on the street main.
- Reconnection. Arrears, the 10% late surcharge, and a reconnection fee. This guide’s range is Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 10,000 or more, depending on the connection. The challan is the figure you pay.
