Electricity Peak Hours Schedule & Savings Tips

Electricity unit rates in Pakistan are significantly higher during peak hours. Plan your power usage to save on your monthly bill.

Official Peak Hours Schedule

Checking status...
🌞 SUMMER SCHEDULE (Apr to Oct)
7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
❄️ WINTER SCHEDULE (Nov to Mar)
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Peak hour timings are uniform across DISCOs including LESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, FESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, and K-Electric.

How to Reduce Your Peak Hour Charges

  • Avoid Heavy Appliances: Turn off air conditioners, electric water pumps, irons, and washing machines during peak hours.
  • Switch to Inverter Technology: Use energy-efficient DC inverter ACs and refrigerators to reduce peak power draw.
  • Pre-cool Rooms Before Peak Time: Cool your living spaces prior to 7:00 PM, then turn down or switch off AC units during peak timings.
