How to Replace a Faulty, Damaged, or Slow Meter

Do not wait for your local meter reader to note a "Defective" status, as they will charge you estimated "detection bills." Take action immediately:

  1. Apply online through the centralized Electricity New Connection (ENC) portal for a meter alteration or replacement.
  2. Print out the application form, attach a copy of your CNIC and your latest electricity bill, and submit it to your subdivision office.
  3. Track the status using your unique application ID on the ENC portal.

Checking Load-Shedding & Unscheduled Outages

Is your power cut due to load management or a local system fault? You can pull real-time data straight from your local grid:

  • Go to the main CCMS portal landing page.
  • Locate the "Feeder Details" utility block.
  • Enter your 14-digit reference number (found on top of any old bill) to view the scheduled hours of load shedding assigned to your specific area feeder.
